· Coordinate with research consultants for the development of the research proposal
· Review and synthesize literature and available data on the assigned research topic
· Conduct field interviews with relevant government agencies, civil society organizations and other identified respondents
· Draft and revise the research report based on input from research consultants
· College graduate of social science or related courses, with good research training
· At least one-year research experience in qualitative research
· Willing to conduct field interviews
HealthJustice is growing! As we continue to expand our advocacy and research for important public health policies in the Philippines, we are in need of talented and dedicated people who can share their ideas and skills to the various projects handled by the organization. This internship program is open for students who are interested in gaining experience in non-profit and advocacy work. Internship Program HealthJustice accepts interns three times per year and welcomes motivated, open-minded, and determined individuals to apply. Internship candidates must:
Be dedicated and interested in working in the field of public health
Be in their junior or senior year (in good standing), if an undergraduate college student
Have an excellent command of English or Filipino Background in law, economics, medicine, political science, public health, or media-related courses is preferred

The research intern will assist in the conduct of either quantitative or qualitative research. He/she is also expected to have basic skills in data gathering and analysis, report writing, and development of educational/informative multimedia materials. This is an excellent opportunity to get a hands-on experience in doing non-profit legal, economic, or social research.
The communication intern will assist in performing media-related activities such as writing press releases, organizing press briefings, and developing educational/informative multimedia materials for the organization. This is an excellent opportunity to get hands-on experience in a non-profit media handling.
The campaign intern will participate in the projects of HealthJustice, specifically in action planning, campaign research, and development of advocacy strategies. It is a skills-building internship, which aims to develop and promote youth leaders in public health.
The administrative intern will assist in performing accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial reporting, and will help prepare for the annual audit. This is an excellent opportunity to get hands-on experience in a non-profit financial management.
